The Ferns Self Catering Cottage is Newly Renovated for 2008 and is one of the most perfectly situated self catering holiday cottages in Betws-y-Coed. Ideally located, right in the village centre, but bordering peaceful countryside and beautiful woodlands. Yet, just a 5 minute stroll away you will find the bars, restaurants, shops and the main centre of the village including the Railway Station and all its attractions.
This beautifully renovated cottage has recently been upgraded to provide everything required for the fantastic 'home from home' holiday. It is now available for weekly lets through the 2008 summer season - short breaks are also available throughout the winter. Set in a peaceful gravel courtyard, with outdoor sitting areas and surrounded by fields and woodland, perfect for relaxing. The cottage is traditionally and beautifully furnished to a very high standard to ensure your stay is a most memorable and enjoyable one.

The Ferns Cottage has retained a fabulous "olde worldey" feel with original beams throughout.
The cottage comprises of 1 spacious double bedroom on the 1st floor with double bed and plenty of bedroom storage and beautiful soft furnishings to compliment. Off the bedroom is a beautifully modernised and well appointed bathroom with overbath electric shower. On the ground floor is a comfortable, perfectly appointed, open-plan living room and kitchen.
The Modern Country style kitchen is fully fitted with a vast array of modern appliances ranging from a pizza cutter to a washer/dryer. The lounge area has a comfortable suite including a sofa which converts to a sofa bed for the extra guests or children! Your meal times can be enjoyed either inside or out in your private courtyard, and if you want to save on the washing up we can even offer you the chance of having a full, freshly prepared breakfast in our Guest House for just £5.95 per head.
A remote control colour LCD TV with DVD, Video player, CD music centre and Play-station & games along with full gas central heating to ensure you stay is most enjoyable and comfortable. There is also a vast array of reading literature and board games to while away the evenings.

13th July - 7pm ´Opera in the Garden´. at Bodnant Garden - London-based The Garden Opera Company will be performing ´Don Pasquale´ by Donizetti. Bring a picnic, a bottle of bubbly, low-backed garden chairs or rugs enjoy this fantastic evening event in a superb setting. Booking is essential as ticket numbers are limited.

A delightful collection of approximately 100 vehicles from pre-1970. Judging takes place at Gwydir Park, Llanrwst before the vehicles travel up the Conwy Valley, assembling on the Promenade in Llandudno for the prize-giving ceremony.-
